I know what it feels like trying to take selfies with your pet. It’s not a fun experience for you or them, and how do they know that you’re trying to take a photo and look away each time?!
I also know the struggle of having 56913714 photos on your phone of your pet, but no really nice ones with you in them that you’d want to blow up big for your wall or make into an album.
What about putting on something nice, but comfy and cuddling up on the couch with your fur babe while I play pet paparazzi, capturing some unique, authentic images of the unconditional love between you?
How about hanging out in the backyard on a cozy blanket, maybe chasing your dog around, or watching your cat enjoy the spotlight while I capture her in all her wild outdoor glory?
Know in your heart that this is you?
You know you love the idea - you’ve seen other folks’ in-home photographs, and they just seem so meaningful and organic. Families in their own space, loving on their fur babies - I mean, what could be better?
You see the advantages - no leaving the house, nor having to worry about your pet being distracted outdoors, and knowing the photos will be catching memories, as well as being artful and beautiful.

Are in-home sessions really for everyone..?
Well. This is my favourite topic, so sit down and get comfy while I spill. : )
First, know that in-home pet photography is ahhhh-mazing.
It’s completely chill, pet led, and LOTS of fun.
Basically..?
I’ll come over, we’ll swoon over your fur kids for an hour or two, and by the end of it we’ll have made a record of your deepest love; one of the most formative and soul shaping relationships of your lovely, lovely life.
Pretty awesome, right?!

In-home photography is for families who want photographs that will show them being together in a way that is connected, imperfect and natural.
It’s for folk who wish to have a lasting record of their lives right now; imagery that will capture something of what life is currently like, in the space within which your belonging to one another is acutely bound - your happy home.

Hi! I’m Crystal – a dog mom to a 14 year old lab/husky and lover of all things nature and animal.
Being outside is my happy place. You’ll often find us (or won't be able to find us!) camping, looking for the most incredible spots for photos of wildlife, landscapes, stars, and Aurora Borealis. Floating in my kayak on a calm lake and swinging in my hammock are close seconds - anything to get out in the sun!

Step 2. Photo session day!
Your pets will have a fun afternoon basking in your attention while I snap away with my camera.
Step 3. You get to see your photos!
I will send you a link to an online photo gallery where you get to choose your favourites to purchase. You will immediately get a link to download your high resolutions images, ready to share and print!
Regarding Covid-19
For those who have concerns regarding Covid, I have been fully vaccinated and am happy to wear a mask during our session. I book sessions 48 hours apart and will be fully transparent if I develop symptoms, travel, or come into contact with someone with Covid etc. I ask that my clients alert me if they have symptoms, travel or some into contact with someone with Covid so that we may reschedule. I am happy to answer any questions you may have!
